Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from Peking University, where he also earned his B.S. degree. Throughout his academic career at Peking University, he was supervised by Professor Ding Ma, focusing on the study of reaction mechanisms and advanced characterization. His work specializes in exploring fundamental reaction mechanisms using transient kinetic analysis and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) for various reactions, including the Fischer-Tropsch reaction and CO oxidation. Currently, Dr. Wang is working with Professor Jason Adams to investigate the mechanisms underlying the electrocatalytic dehydrogenation of alkanes.
