Liam Bonner is the Director of Development at Rice University's Kinder Institute for Urban Research. With a well-rounded background in fundraising, nonprofit work, and the arts, he has held development roles with arts organizations, secondary education institutions, and health and human services nonprofits—work that has centered on building strong relationships and supporting programs that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Before transitioning into development, Liam was a professional opera singer, a role that shaped his creative thinking and collaborative approach. His career path has been diverse, but always focused on connecting people with missions that matter.

Liam is excited to support the Kinder Institute's work using research and data to better understand how cities grow and function. He looks forward to helping expand the institute’s reach and impact in Houston and beyond.
