Kyung-Hee Bae

Kyung-Hee Bae is the Director of the Center for Academic & Professional Communication (CAPC), as well as a lecturer in the Program for Writing and Communication. Prior to joining the Center, Kyung-Hee worked at the writing and communication skills center at the University of Houston for ten years, six years of which time she served as the assistant director. Her academic and research interests include writing in the disciplines (WID), second language writing, writing pedagogy and theory, genre theory and analysis, and writing center theory and practice. Her recent publications include a chapter in Generation 1.5 in College Composition: Teaching Academic Writing to U.S.-Educated Learners of ESL.
