Kishan Bhakta is a research analyst at the Kinder Institute's Houston Population Research Center and a political science PhD candidate who utilizes surveys to answer questions about political attitudes, civic engagement, and other topics affecting residents of the greater Houston area. He received his bachelor's degree in government and Latin American studies from the University of Texas at Austin and has lived in Texas for most of his life. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, watching movies/TV shows, and spoiling his cat niece and nephew.
