Kelly Franks is an Event Specialist for the School of Humanities and Arts at Rice University, where she brings a wealth of expertise in creating seamless, memorable experiences. Kelly’s event management journey began on a massive scale with the Houston Texans in 2018, where she mastered high-stakes hospitality, crowd management, and on-the-fly problem-solving. In 2022, she brought her talents to Rice University's Ion, orchestrating dynamic events centered around innovation, technology, and community building.

Today, Kelly channels her diverse background into designing highly impactful faculty and constituent events for the School of Humanities and Arts.

When she isn’t coordinating logistics, you can find Kelly cheering on her favorite sports teams, enjoying lake life at her family’s home in Northern Wisconsin, or crocheting intricate amigurumi.
