In her role as the Supervisor of Data Records and Management, Kelly oversees the front-line team that processes data for the HR systems for the Rice community. Her previous roles at Rice include administrative positions with the Carbon Hub and the Office of Research.

Prior to working at Rice, Kelly also served for 11 years in the United States Air Force as a Personnel Craftsman.

Kelly is a certified Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP) professional and is active with HR Houston, a local HR professional society organization. Serving on the Gives Back committee, Kelly regularly volunteers her time to serve meals at the Star of Hope.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Illinois State University. Born and raised in Illinois, Kelly moved to Houston in 2010 and has been honored to work at Rice since 2012.
