Katelyn Heath is a postdoctoral fellow at the Texas Policy Lab, where she works on various projects related to early childhood. She is an economist with research interests in the economics of education. Her recent work has focused on policies targeted toward individuals with disabilities. She has employed a variety of quantitative methods to conduct research on the impact of various special education policies affecting individuals with and without disabilities.
Dr. Heath received a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University in 2020. She also holds an M.A. in Economics from Cornell and a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont.
