Julie “JLaw” Law is the Program Administrator for the Chao Center for Asian Studies and the Department of Transnational Asian Studies. JLaw’s breadth of administrative experience spans all levels of organizations from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. She earned a BA in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science from Montclair State University. She is proud to be a daughter of immigrants and draws from the lessons of lived experiences to enrich her work. She is delighted to be a part of Rice University, particularly the Department of Transnational Asian Studies and the Chao Center for Asian Studies, where she finds “the collaborative spirit among the faculty, staff, and students to be positively invigorating.
