Juliana joined Rice Global as the Global Travel Safety Manager in December 2024. Juliana serves as the lead point of contact for international risk, safety, and security preparedness protocols and services associated with international travel across the university for students, faculty, and staff.

Juliana holds a B.S. in International Affairs and Modern Languages from the Georgia Institute of Technology and studied abroad at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in Moscow. She also holds an International Master in Russian, Central and East European Studies from the University of Glasgow as well as an M.A. in European Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Juliana also maintains a Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification from ASIS International.
