Julia Huggins

Julia Huggins is a Postdoctoral Associate with the Technology, Culture, and Society Initiative at Rice University. Her research centers environmental media, media theory, postcolonial and feminist science and technology studies, and critical legal studies. Huggins' current project traces the role of dust as a material concept in the history of forensics. Her work has been supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and Fulbright Canada, and her writing has appeared in Fata Morgana.
