Ji-Hee Lee is an economist specializing in Education and Gender Economics. Her research spans early childhood programs and family decision-making, including the division of unpaid labor in dual-earner households and the evaluation of early childhood interventions. She brings broad research experience, including choice experiment design, large-scale data analysis with stakeholders, and leading Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) evaluations. Ji-Hee uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to inform policy and shares her findings with academic and public audiences. She previously worked as a graduate research assistant at the Texas Policy Lab, contributing to applied research on early childhood policies in collaboration with state and local partners. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Rice University and a B.A. in Economics (Valedictorian) from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea.
