Jessica Solomon is a finance and administrative operations professional with an extensive history working in higher education. She is skilled in management, budget administration, and human resources. As the Director of Finance and Administrative Services, Jessica provides a comprehensive range of services to the Rice University Police Department. She oversees budget operations, human resources management, and all administrative services. Jessica oversees the functions which support the Identification Office, Access Control, and Parking Enforcement. As part of the senior management team, Jessica directs the strategy and implementation of financial and administrative plans across all functions, ensuring compliance with university financial and human resources policies.

During her tenure at Rice, Jessica has participated in several on-campus working groups to improve financial and human resource operating systems processes and project implementations. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Jessica was an active member of the Crisis Management Team. She successfully coordinated university efforts to distribute COVID-19 vaccines to Rice students, staff, and faculty by organizing multiple vaccination clinics.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston.
