Jessica Rood is a graduate research assistant at the Texas Policy Lab. She is a Ph.D. student in the Economics Department at Rice University, and her research interests center around social mobility and early childhood development. Her work at the Texas Policy Lab focuses on studying the impact of Early Childcare programs in Texas. Jessica holds a B.S. (Honors) in Economics from Truman State University.
