Jessica Pungo joined Rice’s Office of Internal Audit in September 2023. As an Internal Auditor, she assists the Associate Vice President and Chief Audit Executive of Internal Audit in the performance of internal audits as prescribed in the audit plan. She provides an independent and objective evaluation of various risk-based topics related to financial and operational business activities.

Jessica has over 4 years of previous Accounting experience and began her career in internal audit in 2020, where she served as an Internal Auditor for ManhattanLife Insurance Group. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Project Management and Process Improvement from the University of Houston-Downtown.
