The properties that control subsurface fluid flow and storage are heterogeneous at a range of scales, limiting our ability to predict groundwater flows and transport. My research interests lie in the development and application of novel methods to characterize this heterogeneity and produce environmental decision-making tools aimed at solving hydrogeologic problems. In my research I use multi-physics numerical modeling, inverse modeling, and uncertainty quantification to address cutting-edge groundwater questions.
