As program administrator, Irene handles a variety of administrative tasks and event and travel program management, including organizing lecture series and the annual New York Spring Break Trip. In her role, Irene also contributes assistance to imaging projects and promotion of communication and outreach to students and faculty.

Prior to joining the Art History department, Irene served as the parent program coordinator in the Office of Development at Rice and also taught English in South Korea for a number of years. Irene holds a BA in Communications-Media Production from the University of Houston. In her free time, she is fond of reading, traveling, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
