Hayley Hemstreet manages the day-to-day operations of the Boniuk Institute. Previously she was Program Manager and Faculty Representative for Rice's Religion and Public Life Program from 2013 to 2023. In this role she organized more than 100 events and hosted more than 50 outside scholars and civic leaders on the Rice University campus. She also helped disseminate the work of the program, contributing to op-eds and press releases that have garnered national and international media attention. She graduated from Rice University in 2013 with a dual degree in history and environmental science.
