Hae Hun Matos is the Administrator for the Chao Center for Asian Studies and the Department of Transnational Asian Studies. She has worked at Rice University since 2015. In her role, Hae Hun oversees business administration, including budget and financial management, communications, and special projects. She holds a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) and an AAS degree in Sign Language Interpreting at Houston Community College. Her past work experience includes teaching English in South Korea, serving in the U.S. Army, and managing office operations at UHD’s Academic Advising Center. Hae Hun serves as a Resident Associate at Will Rice College.
