Hey y’all! My name is Fariha, and I am a third-year PhD student in the Department of Bioengineering. I completed my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley before starting my PhD here at Rice. Throughout both my undergrad and PhD, I have worked on a variety of high-stakes writing projects and presentations, allowing me to hone my skills as a communicator. I’m excited to work with and learn from Rice students, hoping to gain new perspectives on communication while passing on what I have learned through my own experiences.
