Eno Oregbesan came to Rice University in November of 2019. As the Director of Risk Management, she supports the university's mission by providing faculty, staff, and students risk management services. These services maximize opportunities for the campus community while encouraging and supporting practices that mitigate the risk of adverse events. Eno serves on several committees at Rice, including the Facilities Safety Committee, the Student Health Advisory Committee, Human Resource Benefits Committee, Crisis Management Team, Facilities Safety Committee, and the Facilities Planning & Engineering Construction Contracts Committee. Before coming to Rice, Eno was the Assistant Director for Risk Management at a Houston-based public research and held various positions at the third largest property and casualty insurer in the United States.
Eno actively volunteers on the University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA) committees. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concertation in Finance from The University of Houston and a Master's in Business Administration from Texas Women's University. She also holds an Associates in Claims (AIC) and Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) designations.
