Darrell Bunch is the Director of Grounds at Rice University. Previously, he held Grounds Manager positions at Prairie View A&M University, the University of Houston, and Texas Southern University. Darrell did extensive work in campus planning and beautification, and sustainability projects. He recently managed the irrigation department for SSC Services for Education, a division of Compass Group at Texas A&M University (TAMU) in College Station and the TAMU Rellis Campus. Before joining Rice, Darrell managed the Weather Matic Smart Link irrigation system. 

Darrell received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University, is a TCEQ licensed irrigator, and is a TDA certified applicator.
