Danny Blacker comes to the OEDK as an experienced Engineering Technician and Team Leader with unique skills in strategic planning, process improvement and in-depth technical expertise. Danny has a consistent track record of contributions to improvements in quality, productivity and effectiveness of products.

As a Petty Officer 2nd Class, Danny was responsible for the repair, maintenance, operation, and employment of both the Close-In Phalanx Weapon System and Rolling Air-Frame Missile System. Systems that included digital and mechanical systems (hydraulics and pneumatics), solid-state devices, RF transmission, receiving, and processing equipment. Work Center Supervisor for 4 of those years and was in charge of 6 personnel during that time. Honorably discharged after 6 year enlistment. In 2013, Danny was hired as an engineering design technician for the OEDK.
