Christine Medina

Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She began her career at Rice University in the School of Humanities Dean’s Office in 2005. Over the years, she has also contributed to several other campus programs, including the Program in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities, the Rice University Art Gallery, and most recently, the Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication. She returned to the Dean’s Office in 2021.

Christine is a certified SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional) and a rudimentary polyglot. She has studied French, Portuguese, and Russian at Rice, building on her foundational knowledge of Spanish and German.

Outside of work, Christine enjoys baking, home improvement projects, and spending time with her husband and their dogs.
