Chris Branca is a data programmer at Rice University's Kinder Institute for Urban Research. Chris holds degrees in mechanical engineering and mathematics from Southern Methodist University (SMU). Before joining the Kinder Institute team, he was a geophysicist in the oil and gas industry where he focused on seismic imaging projects, automation, and algorithm development.
