Advising Philosophy
Chelsea believes that holistic academic advising is the catalyst for teaching lifelong learning. Holistic advising is
the personalized educational experience empowering students to explore, articulate, and succeed in their academic, life, and career goals. She believes that in order to successfully assist students in the decision-making process for major/career selection and life exploration, advisors should utilize holistic student development
research, theory, and tools.
