Dr. Catalina González-Uribe is the Associate Director of Community Engagement for the Community and Public Health Center at the Kinder Institute for Urban Research, where she leads meaningful engagement across academic researchers, community representatives, and institutional partners. Her work, co-produced with communities, centers on generating rigorous, context-sensitive evidence that addresses social determinants of health and supports equitable, community-driven outcomes across diverse settings. Dr. González-Uribe received her Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Public Health and her MSc in Social Epidemiology from University College London, and her MA in Anthropology and bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from Universidad de los Andes. Throughout her career, she brings a deep commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, science diplomacy, and intercultural engagement.
