Brad Burke is Associate Vice President for Industry and and New Ventures, and Executive Director of the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, having led the Rice Alliance since 2001. As AVP, Brad supports new technologies and science created by Rice faculty, students and alumni leveraging his extensive experience building industrial partnerships. He will lead the strategy and development of new and existing corporate partnerships. This role builds on Rice Alliance’s industry relationships to secure mentorship, funding, pilots and customers to accelerate the successful scaling of technologies and companies. Burke will continue to serve as Managing Director of Rice Alliance, leading programs including Rice Alliance’s Venture Forums, Clean Energy Accelerator, Rice Business Plan Competition, OwlSpark Accelerator, and NSF I-Corps. In his free time, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
