In June 2011, Angela Thompson joined the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.  Angela previously worked at the University of Houston, where her responsibilities as a Coordinator included developing electronic surveys, analyzing data for SACS and AACSB accreditation reporting, and providing data for business program rankings.  She received her BBA in Business Information Systems from Tennessee State University in 2001, MBA from the University of Houston – Victoria in 2004, and a Master of Science in Management from Houston Baptist University in 2011.

As our Assistant Director, Angela serves as the technical expert to the university community in building, authoring, and deploying surveys and in analyzing and reporting survey results. She also serves as the university-wide survey manager for the web-based Qualtrics Survey Software and for all COFHE surveys. Angela can be reached at ext. 5377 or apt1@rice.edu.
