Amanda Prestia serves as the Marketing Manager for the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership.  She manages and creates all marketing and outreach activities for the Center, as well as coordinating Center events.  She serves as Staff Support for RCEL Student Leadership Committees and initiatives, including coordinating events and the RCEL Mentorship Program.  Amanda also works as a coordinator for the Rice ELITE Summer Camps, managing registration and communication with campers and parents.

Amanda joined RCEL in 2014. Prior to joining RCEL, Amanda worked in the AEC industry as the Marketing Director for Project Control, a construction program management firm headquartered in San Antonio, as well as the firm’s sports division, PC Sports. Amanda has a B.A. in Communication from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she was an active member of the Pierre Laclede Honors College and a four-year member of the UMSL women’s basketball team.
