Alec Brown became Program Coordinator for the Center for Academic & Professional Communication (CAPC) in 2022. He manages the front desk at the Center’s location in Fondren Library and assists in the communication, organization, and management of events, workshops, and programs. He holds an MA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has previously worked in Communications and Program Coordination in two separate offices in the United States of the Goethe-Institut, the official cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. His academic interests include international politics as well as modern European languages and literature, and he maintains an interest in international relations and democracy studies.
