Ahjah Green is the Event Specialist in the Dean’s Office for the Rice University School of Humanities and Arts, where she oversees undergraduate and prospective student programming and events hosted by the Dean’s Office. Her work includes coordinating student engagement initiatives, recruitment and yield events, academic ceremonies, and community-facing programs that support the student experience.

Ahjah joined Rice in 2023 as the Assistant Director of First Year Programs, where she supported Orientation Week operations, advised O-Week coordinators, and managed campus-wide program logistics. She also facilitated courses including UNIV 110, UNIV 195: Dialogue on Community, and UNIV 235.

Before Rice, Ahjah served as a Program Coordinator at the University of Houston, where she coordinated large-scale campus events and advised student organizations focused on social and cultural engagement.

Ahjah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University and a Master of Education in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago.
