Marcel de Dios, Ph.D. – Clinical Collaboration Hub
Dr. Marcel de Dios is a faculty member of Houston Methodist Hospital with appointments at the Underwood Center for Digestive Health and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He serves as Co-Associate Director of the Clinical Collaboration Hub at the Institute of Health Resilience and Innovation (IHRI). Dr. de Dios’ past research has focused on substance use and its treatment. He is a Licensed Psychologist, and his clinical interests are varied and currently focus on conditions and comorbidities common among individuals with gastrointestinal conditions including anxiety and mood disorders, insomnia, trauma, and Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (DGBI). As Co-Associate Director of the Clinical Collaboration Hub, Dr. de Dios works towards building ongoing partnerships between the IHRI, medical center institutions as well as local community health organizations, clinical training programs, and relevant nonprofit agencies.
