Weiqing Zhang is an assistant professor of marketing at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. His research focuses on three key areas: the creation and consumption of media content, the welfare of small businesses operating on e-commerce platforms, and the patterns and dynamics of customer product returns.
Prof. Zhang received his Ph.D. in marketing from New York University. He completed his M.S. in business administration at Washington University in St. Louis and B.A. in mathematics and economics at DePauw University.
