Wei-Li Hsu received her Ph.D. in Second Language Studies from University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has been a foreign language instructor teaching Chinese as a second language, and English as a second language in the United States and in Taiwan. She has taught beginning to advanced-level Chinese courses, Chinese literacy course, business Chinese, Chinese for heritage speakers, and intensive Chinese course. Her research interests include second language reading, heritage-language learning, assessment, and critical pedagogy in second language teaching. She has served at the Heritage-Language SIG (Special-Interest-Group) at ACTFL.
