I am a field-based geologist focused primarily on the processes that occur in the middle to lower crust during continental collision—deformation, metamorphism, and crustal melting. Through both my teaching and research, I strive to provide undergraduate students with impactful field experiences, ranging from basic geologic mapping and structural analysis to interdisciplinary studies of climate-change impacts on alpine environments.
