Biography

Thomas A. Kent, M.D. is a clinician scientist with a focus on mechanisms and treatment of disorders of the nervous system that involve disturbance of oxidative phosphorylation and oxidative stress. His translational laboratory at Texas A&M Health Science Center-Houston campus has an ongoing collaboration with the Tour Lab at Rice University to identify the structural and chemical features that optimize the potential for carbon nanomaterials as therapeutics
