Ronald Soligo

Ronald Soligo is a Professor Emeritus who joined the economics department in 1967. He earned his PhD from Yale University and prior to coming to Rice held positions with the Yale-Pakistan project in Karachi and Yale University. Professor Soligo’s research interests include economic development and energy economics, and he was known for his dedication to our graduate program and its students, serving as Director of Graduate Studies for twenty years.
