Biography
Marcelo Videa is associate professor at the Department of Chemistry at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, México. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 1993 and Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from Arizona State University in 1999, under the supervision of C. Austen Angell for the study of the transport properties of Li+ in lithium electrolytes by PFG-NMR. He is currently the director of the undergraduate program in Chemistry and is the leader of the Research Chair of Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterials at Tecnológico the Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. He is member of the Electrochemical Society and the Mexican Electrochemical Society.
