Biography

Dr. Martinez has worked in the glass industry in the development of analytical techniques to measure and control physical and chemical properties of colored glasses. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry at Arizona State University working with Dr. Austen Angell on Structural Relaxation in the Glass Transformation Range Using Probe Ion Spectroscopy. She is currently a Professor of the School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Her current research focuses on the preparation of amorphous drug formulations intended to be used in combined therapy.
