Luis F. Guzman Nateras is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Rice University. Luis is an experienced lecturer with over 10 years of experience teaching a wide array of CS-related courses. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Oregon (2023) where he worked on Cross-Lingual Learning for Information Extraction. He completed his B.S. in Computer Engineering (2008) and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering (2014) from the Michoacan University of Saint Nicholas of Hidalgo (UMSNH). Luis is also interested in CS Education research and enjoys being involved in introductory-level courses.
