Kyungmi Lee

Kyungmi Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Rice University. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2024, advised by Anantha P. Chandrakasan. Prior to joining Rice, she was a postdoctoral associate at the Research Laboratory of Electronics at MIT. 

Her research focus is on computer architecture and VLSI, where she designs hardware support for secure and trustworthy AI computing and develops frameworks to understand evolving AI hardware. She aims to advance future AI computing platforms that protect privacy and integrity while delivering high performance and energy efficiency.
