Jim joined RCEL in 2017 after nearly forty years with ExxonMobil. During that career he held a range of technical, planning, financial, sales and marketing positions in the United States, Latin America and Asia.

He was the Director of the Lubricants and Specialties businesses in the United States and Asia Pacific and then led the Global Sales and Customer Service teams. He returned to Houston in 2011 to lead the design, construction, move logistics and change management for ExxonMobil's new North Houston campus.

Jim studied Chemical Engineering at Rice and received his MBA from Stanford. He and his wife, Renee, have two children that they enjoy visiting in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Mountain View, California.
