Jeff Dominitz is a Professor in the Practice. His recent research combines statistical decision theory and partial identification analysis in applications to evaluation of predictive algorithms, sample design choice between the quality and the quantity of data to be collected, and political polling. Jeff has devoted much of his career to survey research, especially the elicitation of subjective expectations. He has previously held faculty positions at the University of Michigan, Caltech, USC, Carnegie Mellon, and the University of San Francisco. Outside of academia, Jeff co-founded Resolution Economics LLC; served as Principal Researcher at the non-profit Education Analytics, Senior Economist at RAND, and Senior Fellow at NORC at the University of Chicago; and led the football analytics group as Director of Statistics for the Philadelphia Eagles after a brief stint in Washington as Football Research Manager.
