Research Summary
My areas of technical interest include process design and scale-up of processes for the manufacture of engineering and high heat thermoplastic polymers, and thermoset systems such as polyurethanes and epoxies, development of materials and systems for automotive composites using carbon fibers, wind blade composites, laminates for printed circuit boards, epoxy and urethane systems for infrastructure preservation, and specialty urethane foams. In the area of Oil and Gas, my interests encompass systems for carbon capture and utilization, methane measurement and mitigation technologies, enhanced oil recovery using carbon di-oxide foam technology, methods for improving bitumen extraction, and subsea flow assurance insulation systems.
