I am a physical oceanographer interested in ocean-sea ice feedbacks in the Arctic and exploring climate mechanisms using idealized climate models. As a lecturer, I teach classes that introduce students to atmosphere, ocean, and climate dynamics, and engage students in earth science through experiential learning such as environmental data analysis and tank experiments.
