E. Neely Atkinson

Dr. Atkinson retired after working at MD Anderson Cancer for 39 years; at the time of his retirement, he was a Professor of Biostatistics. Dr. Atkinson's research focused on early detection of cancer and on the development of statistical algorithms. Dr. Atkinson now focuses on teaching introductory statistics. His intention is to bring his years of research experience to the classroom to help students understand the relevance and importance os statistics inmaking difficult decisions  based in important areas, based on data.
