Callan Monette

Callan Monette is an Assistant Director and Assistant Teaching Professor at the Center for Teaching Excellence. Her background has blended bioengineering research with educational development for graduate TAs and faculty in engineering spaces, including the development of a novel pedagogy course for bioengineering graduate students. Her academic interests are centered on pedagogical training of STEM educators, particularly through the lens of accessibility, equity, and evidence-based practice. She is also interested in developing equitable strategies to promote student mental health and wellbeing in the classroom.
