Brian Spector

Brian Spector is the Head of Operational Excellence for Harris County, Texas where he has overall responsibility for digital transformation of contracting, procurement, and AP processes. Previously Mr. Spector was the Chief Development Officer of Sirius Solutions LLLP where he is responsible for managing the firm's businesses as well as overseeing their acquisitions and alliances. Before that, Mr. Spector was the Managing Director of Structured Products and headed up BP's coverage of oil and gas producers and midstream companies. Before that, he led BP's coverage of Banks, Private Equity funds and Hedge funds. Before joining BP, Mr. Spector was the Managing Director of ACN Energy, Inc., a leading retail electric and gas marketing company. Prior to ACN, Mr. Spector was a director at Enron North America, Inc., where he worked in the gas and power business and founded their coal marketing and trading business. His career began at Pace Consultants, Inc., where his practice focused on refining and petrochemicals.

Mr. Spector currently serves on the School of Humanities Advisory Board. He previously served on the Committee on Undergraduate Curriculum and the University Committee for Admissions. He is the founder of the MBA Council of Houston and a past board member of the Jones Graduate School of Business Alumni Association as well as his 25th and 35th Reunion Giving Committees.
