Betul Orcan-Ekmekci joined the mathematics department in 2011. She received her B.Sci. and M.Sci. from Boğaziçi University in 2003 and 2005, respectively; and PhD in Mathematics from The University of Texas-Austin in December 2010. 

Research Areas

Free boundary value problems, fluid dynamics, the applications and modelings of partial differential equations in chemical and bioengineering.
