Charlotte is an Applied Physicist with extensive expertise in diffraction-limited spectroscopy and spectroelectrochemistry for sensing chemistry at the nanoscale. She uses correlated spectroelectrochemical techniques to report on environmental changes and chemistry occurring at interfaces. She works in a collaborative manner that fosters scientific progress across disciplines.
As a member of the Association of Women in Science, the Electrochemical Society, and the American Chemical Society, she strives to improve the scientific literacy of the general public and encourage young scientists, especially women, to pursue careers in STEM fields.
Her key competencies include:
- Spectroscopy
- Electrochemistry
- Electron Microscopy
- Materials development and characterization
- Optical system building and development
- Python and Matlab programming languages
